Sir Roger Moore supports Animal Defenders International

29 05 2014

The Estate Of Sir Roger Moore and Imelda Staunton have joined forces to support Animal Defenders International's Stop Circus Suffering campaign by writing a letter to The Queen, urging her to ensure wild animal circuses get banned by pledging her commitment to the cause in her speech at the State Opening of Parliament in June.

Moore and Staunton say in the letter 'We cannot allow this cruelty and deprivation to continue', and detail abuse committed against animals by circus owners. Other celebrities supporting the ban include Dame Judi Dench, June Brown, Eddie Izzard and Dominic West.
